Big bang singer Taeyang is set to join BTS' Jimin on the single 'Energy', which is out next week.
Find out MORE: BTS's allure took the world by descending into a deep, dark pit
The Dark Name made a statement recently (January 4) via Taeyang's actual virtual entertainment channel, revealing the title track and its shipping date to be January 13 at 2 PM KST.
He also shared the first preview for the delivery, which highlights Taeyang and Jimin posing on the yellow set. The presence of "Energy" will review the most memorable indie music belonging to the singer of Enormous Detonation for almost six years. Taeyang's most recent work as a solo artist is his 2017 album White Nights, which includes the lead single Dear, as well as a B-side with Zico, Tonight.
“Vibe” will also brand his most memorable delivery under the new administration — the big man just announced his move to The Dark Mark last week after his deal with longtime label YG Amusement expired.
For Jimin, his appearance on "Energy" will be his most memorable independent musical adventure since BTS announced in June that they would continue this year in a series of individual rehearsals to focus on independent pursuits. It's also the latest installment in the collection to officially go solo - BTS' latest independent release was RM's true debut with Indigo last month.
In a five-star review of the record, Rian Daly of NME described Indigo as "a collection that seems unfazed by the recent and likely to be a hit, more intent on building its own ultimate world". Meanwhile, Jimin's bandmate Jungkook has found a way to rack up his latest single, "Visionaries", over 100 million streams on Spotify in just a short time after its release, making it the fastest song from a South Korean solo artist to achieve the feat.
Delivered as an excerpt from the signature soundtrack of the 2022 FIFA World Cup last November, the song was first debuted by Jungkook himself alongside Qatari singer Fahad Al-Kubaisi at the World Cup opening ceremony before taking off his studio jersey.
